Surrounded

I’m surrounded,
Not a thing I can see nor hear,
Surrounded, and I don’t know why,
All I want is to know I’m not alone, To know that someone cares,
I want to feel the deepest most tragic emotions,
I want to feel love, I want to feel hate
But I can’t.
For I am surrounded, and alone,
No clue as to where I am,
I can’t move and can hardly breathe,
I want a true friendship, I want to feel
Heartbreak one to many times.
I need to see the reflection, of the sad little girl I am.
I want to see the moon at night and sun during the day.
I want to break past this barrier, to let myself
Free.
In all truth, I’m surrounding myself,
So I don’t have to deal with everyday life
I can block it all out
And so,
I do.
