Tears Falling Into The Darkness - Poem by Michael Robertson

Melancholy, to feel nothing but sadness
A normal room once bright turned black and silent
Alone, to hide and discover my visions while awake
These dreams appear in front of my eyes
What could have been, to see the better world
Creation of a false happiness, a pretend paradise
An artificial rapture, live in this world instead
I trade my tears and blood, hoping this world will become reality
Failure, the real world becomes more painful every day
I hate this, an addictive urge to keep feeding the circle
Complete despair, eternal nothingness,
This realm of false joy is my only sanctuary
