The Beast - Poem by Håvard Reiersgård

Blood are floating in the streets
The beast wants all kind of fresh meat
Death is now the only way to go
Can just see sharp flaws and eyes that glow

It runs through town after town
This is the beast who’ll wear the crown
feasting on every human child
the only way to describe this is just wild

no place to run to and no place to hide
around you is your loved ones that died
eaten by that dangerous thing
and nothing’s left but a diamond ring

the world are in panic, so am I
living each day being afraid I’ll die
corpses are floating down rivers of blood
chopped of heads are lying in the mudm
