The Eternal Clock - Poem by Frankie Wills

Abyss
Whirling - whiling
Never leaving
Tempting you

I'm waiting
Whiling away
Biding my time
I will have you

Everything
Is nothing
The touch of my hand
Leaves you cold

I'll help you
I'll love you
I'll hold you
In cold arms

I'm churning water
Jet black Tarmac
The speeding car
The sheer cliff

Me

Earth may cover
Coffin nails hide
I'll be there
By your side

I'll hold you
I'll love you
Protect you
From cruel life

From life

The eternal clock
Ticks away
I come closer
Everyday

The Eternal clock
Ticks away
Death is closer
Everyday
