The Spirit Of Pure Energy - Poem by Orlando Belo
Where does the spirit of life go when you pass away?
Sometimes you can see it leave the body behind,
like a cloud evaporating on a hot summer's day.
I know it travels upwards I suppose into space,
but where does it go and what does it do
after spending a lifetime in just one place?
Logic dictates that it returns to the source of all energy,
perhaps toall the data it has stored
as a spiritual servant of humanity.
After purging, it may well be released to seek out a new birth,
so it can again gather information in the form of energy
on any planet in the universe like that of Earth.
No one knows where the universe's energy emanates from,
but still it expands without end and becomes ever stronger.
Perhaps we do help by dying, so that life's energy lives on.
