Time To Cheer
It was dark, it was drear
the sky was dull yet so clear
screaming thoughts but no one to hear
she sat alone there
back, down at the rear
remembering that one year
spent in fear
wanted to look back once, to tear
that past she had was so drear
she yelled alone O' my dear!
as she looked above, the dawn was near
she smiled for the time was to cheer
