Time Will Tell - Poem by Keaira Jackson

SO MANY THINGS I HEAR BUT THEY NEVER COME FROM YOU

SO MANY DIFFERENT STORIES HOW DO I KNOW THE TRUTH

SO MANY WRONGS I HAVE TO RIGHT

BUT WIT YOU I KNOW IT CAN'T HAPPEN OVER NIGHT

YOUR PAST IS A BOTTOMLESS PIT THAT GOES ON FOR A LIFETIME

I'M NOT A PERSON THAT DWELL ON THE PAST BUT IT STILL MAKES MY STOMACH TURN

SO MANY THINGS ABOUT YOU I STILL HAVE TO LEARN

YOU TRUST
I THOUGHT I EARNED
MY HEART INTERNALLY BURNED

BECAUSE YOU FELT DA NEED TO CHUNK YO SELF IN A DEGRADING WAY

ALL THAT BAGGAGE FOR A ROLL IN THE HAY

DAMN...I REALLY DON'T KNOW WAT TO SAY

I HOLD IT IN EACH AND EVERY DAY CUZ I DON'T LIKE CONFLICT
AND I HATE EXCUSES

BUT WAT YOU'VE DONE IS RUTHLESS

NO RESPECT FOR YO SELF OR OTHERS BUT WHO AM I TO JUDGE
SO MY LIPS DON'T BUDGE

RELATIVely CALM
