Verity Poem by Keilani Poetry

Verity

Rating: 5.0

Death
folded my wings

now higher
I soar

past mountains
rivers

and hidden things

I too am hidden

‘tween flowers
and grasses

songs children sing

and tree blossoms
dispersed in Spring

I shelter you
in the heat

and rain

adorning you
in fragrances

from the garden
of infinity

the breath
of Summer's kiss

or a wind
that hurries past

you do not see me

though
never have I left

you
