Yesterday's Memoirs - Poem by Marthe Claude

1) Remember that time
we said goodbye
I had your hand in mine
and was holding on tight

Remember that day
you left me again
you changed my fate
like a good day changes to rain

Remember that moment
where we broke apart
All reality was bent
'cause you took half my heart

2) Lust is no good
I am not fool
Reaching from the skies
just to touch you
I need you
I want you
I love you

3) Hold my hand
let's take a walk

Do you see the sky?
Shining bright as the clouds go by

Do you see the little girl?
Flash her mile so wonderful and welcoming

Do you see the faces?
No longer confused and lost

Do you see the birds?
So in touch with the harmony of this scene

Hold my hands
don't let go
'cause if you do
I lose this joy
