Your Actions Speak Louder Than Your Words - Poem by Kellie Younger

Without knowing it,
You told me I wasn’t good enough.
Without knowing it,
You deleted my confidence, my self-esteem.
With out knowing it,
You shot a bullet through my heart,
You split it apart.
I tried to fix it,
But you just did it again.
You shot me through my heart,
You spilt it apart.
You actions told me you needed someone better.
Your actions always speak louder that your words.
You tore my heart out,
You undid all the stitches, made it like it was before.
‘Cept this time you stepped all over the pieces.
Without know it,
You ruined my life.
Not for the first time,
But for the second.
Are you just out to get me?
Are you trying to ruin my life?
‘Cause you’ve succeeded,
You’ve destroyed me,
You've destroyed my confidence,
Even my career.
I sit here and cry
I cry myself to sleep at night.
How long with it last this time?
How long will the pain last?
Will it ever go away?
Without knowing it you killed me,
You brought me back alive,
And killed me again.
How could you put me through this again?
You promised she would never leave
You said she had a home ‘till she died.
How could you take her away from me?
You knew how much she meant to me,
And now you take her away.
All that I’ve done for you, for her.
Without knowing it,
You told me I wasn’t good enough,
That she need someone better
With out knowing it,
You told me I wasn’t good enough.
That she needed someone better.
Without knowing it,
You’ve just sentenced me to a slow and painful death
Your actions speak louder than you words ever will.
