Your Body Isnt Disgusting; Society Is - Poem by Becca Hitch

For all the peole who ever felt ridiculed by societies excpectations

Your body isn’t disgusting society is
Dont listen to what they say
Your ‘e gorgeous no matter what
Don’t let them ruin your day
Its not all about being hot

They are the posers; the fakes
They live in insecure worlds
When it comes down to the stakes
you’re the truly stunnng girls.

Your body isn’t disgusting society is
Guess what you don’t have to be hot
Being imperfect is hard its something you’ll miss
All you need is all you got.

The perfect they preach about
Doesn’t exsist in real life
Don’t be a cakeface and pout
Don’t let your self esteem take a knife

Your body isn’t disgusting society is
Guess what you don’t have to be hot
Being imperfect is hard its something you’ll miss
All you need is all you got.

Don’t worry
Itll be okay
The world will say sorry
They will realise 0 isn’t a size one day

Until then stay strong
Keep your head high
The wait might be long
But soon theyll see perfect is a lie
