How curious, this little leaf
Still here, though it's mid November
While all the other leaves have fallen
One by one since the chill of September

How curious, this little leaf
Neither followed this one nor that one
But in the tree it remains
And is as green as in the summer season

How curious, this lone little leaf
That offers little shade from the sun
But dances alone in the wind
For the joy of everyone
