Anger - Poem by Rosemarie Diano

Anger is not an erroneous thing
It’s not bad, for a certain reason of being
A form of expressing yourself
Of how you feel, a salve
A potion for healing.

There’s a hitch though,
You have to be in control
Or adversity will follow
And you’ll be lost
Out in the cold.

It has its flaws
What else can I say
Maybe it’s not my position to know
But certainly it’s not supposed to stay
You have to have the guts to let it go

I have but a bit of advice
A substantial one no doubt
Be not the devil’s own
As to an angel of the uncouth
