Another Headache My Dear (Your Comfort) - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Another headache has stricken me dear
and within the last 45 minutes
has begun ringing and pounding quite bad
and hope you will reach out and hold
me so close while I put on my eye shades and close my eyes.
Hopefully with the Excedrin with your
immense comfort will beat this bad pain
much sooner than later.
My darling dear will you please hold me?
These headaches are quite the annoyance
and sometimes unbearable.
Reach out dear my arms are open and with your
deep Angelic loving comfort hopefully soon
I will pass through this discomfort.
Another headache my darling and I long for your comfort
because it is you alone that I want to be with me,
to calm this pulsing head with this pain
and calm the tension in the body it builds.
Please reach back to me my sweet darling
as I reach out with this headache for comfort
and help give me the peace and relaxation my body needs.
I love you Kira and these headaches are
so sickening and annoying and I'm hoping you'll
hold me in spirit to help give me the comfort to
relax and sleep for a bit to defeat it.
