Anti-Gravity Poem by Laurence Overmire

Anti-Gravity

Rating: 5.0

Every day I need to spend
A little time with my soul
Connect with that inner space
When the world intrudes with
Scissors knifing through a Hitchcock curtain

The interior is forever
Impartial and wise
Knowing the secret of mountain and stream
The streak of a star across the sky

In the silence of still moment
Air in and out
The breath of life, immortal and sure
All that seems monumental
Becomes suddenly

Unreal.
