Blindly Or Confident? - Poem by Ryan Arthur Walker

Why is our earth like a Battlefield of Roses
to the naked eye its beautiful and elegant
but when it comes down to reality
one prick, and your life is different

Sometimes for good, sometimes momentarily
but blinded by Justice and massaged by Fear
our people live in a constant computer
Just updated with better graphics

Because one day we will not be able to
cover up our mess, Neither will we be able to
clean it. Satisfaction seems key, but hasn't
anyone noticed that, that is being occupied.

And the last time I checked,
I was a freethinker,
So satisfaction is the way I live my life
Not to be occupied by theirs.
