Break Out - Poem by AnneMarie Hewlett

The goody two shoes
The one that doesn’t break the rules
The one who will always stay and hide
It’s time to make a change tonight

You may think I’m shy
But boy when I see you, I’m not ready to hide
You’re taking over my body and soul
I’m ready to release and break out of my shell

Bridge:
Can’t you see what you’re doing to me?
My skin feels on fire and you’re the ice I need
Burning up with desire,
I’m really starting to feel the heat

Chorus:
And when the music starts
It takes you on a roll,
And you just can’t stop
And you can’t control
Because baby I can see
That it’s not only me,
Do you want to break out with me?

The way you bump and grind
The shy girl isn’t here tonight
I need to feel your skin close to mine
Send me off to a land of paradise

Send me somewhere
Where you kiss me all night
Where I can feel your body on mine
I’m not going to wear Virgin white

Bridge:
Can’t you see what you’re doing to me?
My skin feels on fire and you’re the ice I need
Burning up with desire,
I’m really starting to feel the heat

Chorus:
And when the music starts
It takes you on a roll,
And you just can’t stop
And you can’t control
Because baby I can see
That it’s not only me,
Do you want to break out with me?

And I know you want me
I feel it resting against me
And I know you can’t control
You’re getting ready to break

Don’t take me gently
I need it rough
I want your kiss on my neck
I want you to tear me apart

Bridge:
Can’t you see what you’re doing to me?
My skin feels on fire and you’re the ice I need
Burning up with desire,
I’m really starting to feel the heat

Bridge 2:
I’m not hiding, I don’t want to leave
Just hold me tight, take me to my paradise
I’m getting ready, I want this ride
What’s the price to pay for a journey of a lifetime?

Chorus:
And when the music starts
It takes you on a roll,
And you just can’t stop
And you can’t control
Because baby I can see
That it’s not only me,
Do you want to break out with me?
