Come Rest 13 - Poem by Michael P. McParland

Come rest with me my sweet one
as I am ever so tired and need it now.
Will you come snuggle with me
and share some sweet kisses before we do?
Then just rest your head upon my chest
and curl up in my arms for me to
pull you in close rubbing your back
and stroking your hair as we drift off
listening to the podcast which never fails
to make me smile and laugh.
Come rest with me my sweet one
and also feel me with you where you are
with my arms around you and my lips on yours
and me saying Kira I love you sweet one.
Come rest with me my sweet one and know
that I love you with all of my heart,
mind, body, and soul.
Will you come snuggle my sweet Angel dove
because your Michael wants wrapped up
with me ever so lovingly right beside me.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

Love and miss you tons Kira. Please come snuggle with me sweet one. Like I said before I hope it's not long but I don't want to make a promise so I don't break a promise to you. I just feel tired and want you to snuggle with me sweet one. I'm sending you all of my love and warmth with great big hugs and the sweetest of kisses. Never forget I'm with you there always.
