Crimson Moon - Poem by Bill Cantrell

Why are you angry, crimson moon?
You look so out of place
We finally see your darker side
and yet, you never turned your face

Blood moon are you bleeding?
Has your lover found another’s arms?
Do not give up on finding love,
There are always other stars

Yes, there are a galaxy of other stars and a sea full of other fish...loved this. (Report) Reply

The verses are so heavenly and the poem is such celestial fun to read! Perhaps the moon has a bloody nose because someone punched him for shining light on what was preferred to be kept secret. I enjoyed this rascal of a poem, I think I should memorize it and recite it to the moon during its blood moon phase. (Report) Reply
