Do Unto You - Poem by Alexandra Blisse

your comments, your laughing, your careless ranting
you feel a pain
so you let it out, you dont know how vain
you just cant seem to see, through all the rain
you take it out on the un-suspecting
not a thought of pre- regretting
you find some pleasure, in their sorrows
letting your heart be shown as hollow
you lose them all, but is your mind content?
you've got nobody left to hear you vent
til' one day you start to cry
along comes one kind heart, just a passer by
you say you've lost them all, and cant find why
that one good person, picks up your chin
and promises to you 'it will be okay again;
just follow your heart and in the morrow
you can clear away the dark and sorrow'
you tell the lost, you've been not the same
you show them all how deep your shame
dont play it cool, it will just get colder
let time go by and you'll just get older.
than your world, that once crashed down
will show you you're ways, have been that of a clown
so, do unto others as you wish they do to you;
and dont forget the sun will always shine through.
