Draws A Blank - Poem by Ian Zeller

My mind draws
a blank

I am lost
tried and
convicted
condemed

to my own hell
of life, I have
no words

to go on
my mind draws
a blank

my heart feels
the need for
compassion
and the will to
live

its time to
re-invent myself
yet again start
with something
new

I still have no clue
what to start new
to let my walls
down let someone
in

I don't know what
to do I am scared
I dont want another
bubble

I don't want to
cry
Should I face my
fear and accept
my fate
I will always lose

You people will
kill me,
Good bye to you...

My mind draws a blank
fear consumes me
taking my last breath
love, to your death

Run away...
