Early Morning Snuggle - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Here in the early morning before we have to rise
I would love to share an snuggle with you
smiling, feeling ever so peaceful safe and warm.
Nothing in my mind would be better right now
than an early morning snuggle with the woman I love.
An early morning snuggle with my only Angel
would be so peaceful and helpful
before having to face the days tasks, chores, and struggles.
An early morning snuggle with you would
help give me that extra strength to make it through
and being able to cuddle up to you after
all of it was done would give me something to look forward to.
How I wish I could be here with you snuggling
and feeling so very good.
Oh my sweet darling we'll share so many snuggles
when we have finally come back together.
I hope I won't annoy you with how much I want to hold you,
I just won't be able to get enough of my precious woman,
my Queen who I treasure more than anything.
I love you sweet lady and will always be with you
and longing for the next time we can cuddle.
I so wish here in this early morning
that I could be with you giving kisses and having a snuggle.
