Endless Dream - Poem by Patrick Coombe

Toss and Turn
In my bed
Painful thoughts
Run through my head
My mind's thoughts
I try to reign
But through they come
With loads of pain
I must wake
From this Terrible dream
But there is no tunnel
To be seen
So here I sit
In submission
In my mind a repeated vision
The sights and sounds
Tear at my mind
The answers I seek
I cannot find
The dream is endless
No end in sight
Tearing my mind
For the rest of my life
But then I wake, back to reality
The thoughts escape quickly from my head
No sign of pain, no sign of tormant
At last the dream is dead

I thought that was really amazing. So detailed and intricate. I loved it. I may only be young, but I can pick a good poem :) (Report) Reply
