Eulogy for the Blake Eagle
O Blake Eagle, soarer of fearless height,
You ruled the wide skies with commanding sight.
Wings spread in honour, in courage and grace,
A guardian spirit time can't erase.
You watched the valleys, the storms, the sun,
Never retreating till duty was done.
In silence you taught us the strength to stand,
The power of vision, the firmness of land.
When winds grew cruel and shadows fell,
You rose above where the faint hearts dwell.
Your cry was justice, your flight was truth,
A lesson engraved from age to youth.
Now rest, great Eagle, your watch is complete,
The heavens receive you in peaceful retreat.
Yet in every heart your legacy stays—
The Blake Eagle lives in our courage and ways.
Fly on, noble soul, beyond mortal sight,
Crowned in eternity, robed in light.
