Evening Note 22 - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Here in the early evening
I'm laying in bed drifting
in and out of sleep I want and need.
I'm sending my heart with all
my warmth and love to you.
We're both longing and aching
so very much and I want
you to feel my heart
and spirit with you to fill
you with peace and strength,
feel me there holding you
so tight and close
kissing you in pure love,
holding hands to feel
the strong bond we share.
I love and miss you so very much
and I'm going to go meet
you in the land of dreams right now.
I promise to write you so much
more when my mind will fully allow.
Remember that I love you very
deeply and that our time will come
and I'll hold you for eternity.
You are my Angel, my only Queen,
my heart, my soul, and my essence are
You are the only woman I adore,
a blessing sent from God above.
