Everything You'Re Not Good At - Poem by Emily Koogle

Tell me you love me.
Tell me you couldn't live without me.
Tell me that it's been too long since you've seen me, even though you saw me the night before.
Tell me that I'm beautiful.
Tell me that I'm beautiful in just sweats and no makeup.
Tell me I have a pretty smile.
Tell me I'm your best friend.
Tell me that the sun rises and sets with me.
Tell me that I'm special.
Tell me there's no one else that could make you feel that way.
Tell me everything you tell her.
That other girl.
If you tell me that very first line, you'll have me forever.
Until them, I'll watch you with her; knowing that you'd be happier with me.
Knowing that I love you, even if you can't see it.
