Fairies' Castle - Poem by Slava Olchevski

For several years two thousand fairies
Were building a castle, a castle of dreams
With wonderful towers, arches, and spires
All covered in gold as the fairies desire.
A castle like this one would see in a dream
Was gracefully perched on a side of a stream

They built it with passion, with love and attention
Attention to every minute detail
It was so delightful, so upscale
It could put to shame even famous Versailles

The world came crushing on fairies dream
When a beavers’ family has settled downstream…
