Fashionable - Poem by Ruth Walters

I buy the latest products
the latest hair shampoos,
I wear the latest fashion,
I read the latest news.

I always do aerobics,
I walk 3 miles each day,
I work from 9-5 each week
and shop on Saturdays.

I always wear fine perfume,
my nails are manicured.
I drive the fastest car I can,
avoid cheap leers, long queues.

I’m always on a diet
not thin but not too fat
I’ve dainty shoes for outings
and high heels, never flats.

Sounds hard work being fashionable. (Report) Reply

This ode to modernity is relevant today, but in just a few short years it too will be passé. Lol (Report) Reply
