Fate - Poem by Marcia Gravett

I woke up this morning
With the feeling that better things are coming my way
I entered your world this evening
With the pleasure of meeting you

I asked if you believed in fate
Your answer was no
I knew better
You entered my world

No promise of hope or love
Just the faith of a smile
Just being there
Was all I needed

Some people want to use you
I only want a moment of time
We all looking for something
Somebody to be there

I woke up this morning
With a new person in my world
I entered your world this evening
Knowing we met for some reason
