For Sale - Poem by John Wilken

For sale
a picture frame
it used to hold a picture
of the one that i love.

for sale
one camera
that took the pictures
of the one im
still thinking of.

for sale
one chair
you sat in while i was on bended knee
and the couch we sat in
when you said
you needed
to be free.

for sale
one slightly used heart
only broken
by the one I adored.

best offer is all I'm asking
its all gotta go
how much i still love her
she, ll never know.

for sale
one answering machine
no longer needed
cuase you aren't
gonna call

for sale

Sorry that you can't get rid of your thoughts of her that easily! I enjoyed your poem. (Report) Reply
