From Darkness To Light - Poem by Liz Berrios

Surrounded by weeping
The clouds turn black
A tear falls into
Folded hands that hold
A rosary made out of petals of roses
The smell of the roses
Calms this broken heart
Who continues to weep
For the loved one that’s been lost
A beam seeps through a crack

This light you will follow
The mist allows the shape of your spirit to be seen
As you rise up towards the Pearly Gates
Now our days are without your grace, your smile, and your love.
You will be missed and remembered
