From Us You Were Taken - Poem by GAYLE ANNE GOFF

From us you have been taken
.Our lives have been ripped apart.
Our hearts are breaking.
.
. The person who has taken you,
we know you never knew.
There was never a clue left.

We informed the law.
They said wait maybe
you'd call.

Why doesn't the law in force
upon this person,
who has no remorse.
How can any person take a child by force?
You took our loved one so dear.

From day to day we now live in fear.
It has effected everyone, close and dear.
I sometimes feel at night I
might go insane
with so much pain

Even though
our lives are pure hell.

We pray and hope your warm, and well.
Just once
more I wish I could hold you

. And smell your sweet smell.
We sit at home hoping you'll phone.
. We know if you could you would.
We'll
be here if you should happen to call.
We; ll wait till you come home.
