Haunting Past - Poem by Gio Nathan Estacio

Wandering memories, lost but free
Those are memories I would like to see
Broken from chains, lost but free
Whatever happens, I'll always be me

There are bad memories haunting from the past
But there are also memories that are to last
I'd like to banish my every bad memory
Then live my life continuing my story

I was once chained with someone
Chain got broken, I was freed after
And those times when we only had each other
Were possibly just times when we were lost and gone

Now, I am moving on, building a better me
But the past still haunts with a memory
Guess it will be long before I will see
I had forgotten you and that I am again free.

YOU brought us a nice story to ponder on
And understand how the memories still haunt
But we see your courage to move on with life
And maybe in the right time you will find the right one for a wife
    MAHUSAY, MAGANDA.
