Haves And Have Nots - Poem by Alex Kenneh

Dreams deferred, blurred sometimes out of this world.

Growing up with a dollar and a dream, but family said education is the key.

Now a days the streets that raised us expect more in return.

They are the same way as the IRS, and don't care how life be taxing us.

The haves most of the time are cashing in on us.

Have nots are usually featured trying to create a revolution.

Maybe that's why I am a rebel mentored by consciousness.

After all is said and done we the ones who face mindsets of hateful intent, criminal minds and from us victims they make.
