I Loved The Me I Was In You - Poem by Kefentse Sathekge
In you I was a free man
Now I am a caged bird
And high on a tower im released
My free wings I cannot unfold
I am scared to be what I am made to be
But if I take this flight, my wings
Would carry me.
For they I meant to do that.
Let me love you with no fear
Like my wings carrying me
Through the width and depth
Of the open skies
