I Sewed Myself Up - Poem by Angelica Duardo

I sewed myself up
For what it felt like forever
But I’m still bleeding out
I’m still falling apart like a broken clock

And it has not been enough
All this time we’ve spent apart
Because I still feel you here
Cutting through my skin
Tearing me apart
