I Want And Need - Poem by Michael P. McParland

I want and need my one true dear
here within my ever open loving arms,
my open heart to hers alone sweetly
in the kindest gentle way sings and
calls to hers to tell her all
the love I feel and that she is truly great.

I want and need my only one because
my heart and soul are in need of her
loving warmth right here next to me.
She's the one who soothes my soul
and helps me know that I am good
and everything is okay,
she helps keep me at peace and whole as one.

I want and need my sweet Queen who
treats me like a wonderful King,
she truly is a special one who holds
the keys to my entire heart and soul.
I am so filled with joy and thanks
for all she's done to her I owe my life.
I want and need to show her all her worth
and the great joy and pride I feel for her.
I'll always want and need my only one.

I want and need my only one because
she makes me whole and helps keep
me down the path of straight and narrow.
She is the gift of light I've always needed,
I want to hold her close and say
my love I thank you deeply for all you've done,
you've been a guardian Angel through it all,
I love you deeply to my core and thank you
again sweet lady I hold so high.
I'll never want or need another soul.

I want and need my Angel Queen for all time
to share and feel the true love we both hold and share.
I want and need to be with her forevermore,
she's the only one that can ever do because
my heart feels this special way just for her.
I want and need you for eternity sweet one
so purely beautiful in every way.
You are magic and have a soul so pure,
you are my best friend
and that's the best part sweet one.
