I Would Tell U... - Poem by m.karriem saleem

If I was a poet.
I would write a poem 4 u.
Just so u'll know how I feel and think about u.
If I wrote a poem about u,
I WOULD TELL U...
2 some men u r breast that talks,
A coochie that walks!
N other words u r Rodney Dangerfield 'U GET NO RESPECT '!
I am not pushing upon u like a bra.
But I see u as a rose whose colorful petals r reaching 4 God's sunlite.
A rose whose thorns keep U & I from b'ing US!
U see u r the dream that fills the holes of my day.
Thoughts of u causes my mind 2 tremble n sheer d'lite.
Your beauty spray paints that brick wall of my mental.
It's plain 2 see u r the reason y God made a woman.
Your voice is the fabric softner 2 my soul.
My heart beats a message n morse code,
that seems 2 go undetected.
Resistance 2 u is futile!
U rather face beauty.
Take the time,
face ugly,
u'll see the beauty of true love.
I feel the upper cut of another love TKO!
But that can't stop the dreams of...
Your cinnamon kisses...
Your rainbow smiles...
Your lip print on my lips,
Nor
The flow from the tip of your tongue
saying I LOVE...
I ask u 2 stop 4 just a second,
so I can push the record button!
N my dreams,
u don't use me,
u won't love me, then
leave me!
As black ink flows from disposable plastic cartridges.
I would write a poem 4 u.
Just so u'll know how I feel and think about u.
If I wrote a poem about u,
I WOULD TELL U...
