Imploding - Self Destruct Needs No Explosion - Poem by Ram Josyula
Most of us never ever are in need of an enemy,
A named enemy who has a face and grudge,
Devious, devilish – scheming to bring our downfalls,
A fall from grace – we definitely are most capable of engineering ourselves...
Cataclysm destruction is wrought naught by an explosion on the outside,
Looking outwards is a diversionary misdirection that averts looking inwards,
The rot sets steadily on the innards – structurally weakening the steel within,
And when we search for our undoing in the debris, we realize it’s was no one’s fault,
No bomb explosion could be the cause for it; we cave in under our very own IMPLOSION.
