In The Silence Of My Heart - Poem by Ismim Putera

In the silence of my heart,
You were far and far apart,
Missing you is much more science than art,
I missed the tenderness in your eyes,
Like a piece of fallen skies,
With angelic glimpse in disguise.
Now you were not there,
Your shadow stands between the shades of gray,
No longer can hear your voice every day,
The candle in my heart melts and drips,
Tears running down to reach my lips,
Like the sun losing its flame behind the eclipse,
I am thinking of you deep in the sleep,
Deep in the sleep, I weep,
Deep in the dream, I weep.
