Inside - Poem by Michael P. McParland

Inside my heart is crying, weeping,
screaming out in agony.
For I'm all alone and feel homeless
with no place to go.
I miss and long for my true love
but she's not here she's far away.

Inside my heart is crying, weeping,
intensely heavy from all the grieving.
I just want her to come and hold me,
from everyone out there and here she's
one who's not embarrassed to be my friend.
She sticks by me in every way,
she's not embarrassed or ashamed to
stand up and cheer me,
and without her I'm intensely lonely
and inside my heart is crying, weeping,
because I love her deeply and she's not here
to hold and comfort me.
