Introduction By Way Of Poetic - Poem by Luis Estable

I do commence the story
Though later I may have the glory
Of being partly right
In bringing these poems to light.

Or if I find before I die
That I mostly disturbed,
In learning this alone
Allow me a better wisdom.

And I will go to the grave
With the explanation
I could not help the urge.

Yes, writing poems is almost an urge.
And there is nothing like right or wrong.
A poet has his perspective for what he writes about.
One need not explain, but explain he must at the grave,
he can say, yes I had inside me this crave.

Thank you for your meaningful words. You have made me think how important is the reader to the work of the poet. He brings his work to completion.

Thank you much. I think you understood the poem.
Keep the work of the reader. The poet needs it to bring his or her work to completion.
