Let Me Cross Your Mind - Poem by Kay Conlon

Let me cross your mind
For an hour
...a minute
...a second
Let you see my eyes in your mind.

You’re walking through my thoughts
A million times a day, minute, hour
If I entered yours just once
I would be satisfied.

Think about how I love you
And how you watch me when you think no one else is looking.
Let me drift down the staircase of your thoughts
You must be exhausted from your relay though mine.

Let me cross your mind
For an hour
...a minute
...a lifetime.
