Lies And Fairytales - Poem by Ruth Walters

I could sugar coat it,
dress it in silk,
hide my scars,
feed you fairytales…

so you'd never know,
or understand,
if that's the only way -
you can love me,

make me yours,
take me to your heart
then I'll lie for you
everyday until you fall.
