Love And Art

Poem by Nicole Heintz

Living without you would be so dull
Of course I would survive if you faded
But I would miss your long and delicate limbs
And your strong fawn trunk

I love whispering sweet words to you
Nourishing you makes me feel so happy
I realize that you are grateful
Because you look more and more gorgeous

You stand near the window in the sunbeams
I can spend hours watching your groovy shape and colours
Trying to immortalize you for ever
By making my paintbrushes dance on art paper…

I love you…

My yucca…
