My Boots - Poem by Paul Elliott Price

I met you Boots
you answered my prayer
we lie alone
and im stroking your hair,
Through the clouds
i watch the moon fly by
i see the smile
from your beautiful eyes.

My dreams come true
while im holding you tight
you blow my soul
through the darkness of night,
Your halo shines
on the tips of your wings
unconditional love
thought that i'd had everything.

Theres no sensation
that compares with this
suspended in love
when together we kiss,
cant keep my gaze
from your loving eyes
my stomach twists
when together we lie
