Naturally - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Naturally my dear it would be you
I fell for so deep and in every way.
It's because you're such a
rare and special treasure.
You are an Angel and I so deeply
love and care for my only lady.
In so many ways it was just natural
that we would find each other
and that true love would fully blossom.
Naturally dear it would be with you
on this earth I would love and forge
to share my life's path with.
How I feel and know it in my heart and soul
is through a belief of both feeling soul
and an intellectual learning in my life.
Not something that I can explain
to make full sense here but it will
when I am holding you and explain
it so you can fully see.
I know it was a natural friendship
and love that grew so fast just like
we had been in each others life's for many years.
A natural touch of familiarity between our souls.
I know we knew each other long before
we came to this earth.
As just souls yet to be born I know
that we were friends from how I felt
and was touched right from the start.
I believe we were best friends filled with love
a millennia before we finally met on earth.
It was a natural connection because
you felt familiar and you made me feel comfortable.
You know how awkward I am most of the time
and with you a natural feeling came
that I could be myself.
You have been my best friend and love through all time.
Naturally it was you my sweet Angel dove.
You are so good and kind and when you want
you are truly the most understanding person.
You give such great warm kind love
and you are sincere in every way.
There truly is no lying or false fronts within you.
You have such moral courage I admire
and you inspire me my love.
You are everything that I look for and want.
You are the worlds beauty in my eyes.
I adore you because you're true
to who you are and you so truly
beautiful and loving my sweet one.
I love you for all those things
and so much more that through the years
I will try to give and explain them all
but right now I'll say I love you
because that's how it comes is true and natural.
A pure mountain spring that flows into
a deep clear massive lake.
My love for you is natural because
I love you for who you are
and our souls share a bond and touch
in a deep way neither of us can explain.
It's just natural the love I feel and hold for you.
It's pure tender gentle love of giving
and kindness for you in my soul
and I know it's what you hold for me as well.
