Night Note 57 - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Sitting here smiling my darling
thinking of you and all
the times I know that we'll share.
I see you smiling and looking
at me with those sparkling
mesmerizing eyes that hypnotize.
I let you take me in because
I do not want to hide
from you a single thing.
What I have is all yours and
I give it to you from pure
love and free will.
You are my Angel who I adore,
my soul mate and best friend.
Eternity with you is my dream.
Sitting here organizing the
books in my kindle while thinking
of you and what a pleasure
it's been to have you in my life
and know you through all this time.
The future is coming and
around the bend it's almost here,
I will take you by the hand
pulling you in tightly most likely
unable to speak from tears of happiness
and fulfillment that you're finally here
and I'm about to kiss the woman I
so deeply need and adore.
The future is bright and I drift away
as I do various things,
dreaming of the beautiful times in a magical
scene that we'll do and we'll share
for an eternity hand in hand.
I love you sweet lady you are
the only woman in life for
who I ever planned.
