Peace Offering - Poem by kaban sladecash

I offer you this feather
With fair weather
It’s the universal peace offering
So I’ll stop waffling!

But instead start saying
As the angels are praying
And the children are playing
In sheer joyous delight

At the sight of a rainbow kite
Of love that flies high above
The clouds and mobbing crowds
As free as a bird

And no it’s not absurd
To want this feeling
It’s just a question of dealing
With our states of mind

By being generous and kind
To everyone under the sun
Being merry and having fun
For the secret of eternal youth

There is but one fact, proof and truth
That smiling keeps you young
So watch me know
I’m sticking out my tongue!
