Power Of The Mind

I wake to glimpse the rising sun
Its warmth and rays aglow
Last night I had a grand idea
This morning but, who knows
I thought it would be lots of fun
To wake this early hour
And take my body for that run
Before my daily shower
However, as I know myself
No matter what I did
When morning came and truth be told
My mind it wants to bid
To stay and hide and never show
It really can be done
Again my mind has ruled the play
And once again has won
